PLC Application
This course is designed for those who have completed our PLC Programming Taster, PLC Programming Introduction, PLC Programming Software, and PLC Programming Essentials courses, or have a intermediate understanding of PLCs and programs and want to create more detailed projects using word PLC instructions to develop programs for analogue systems. Additionally, work with number systems to solve problems. PLC instructions used include bit, word, double word, and analogue. Each project uses a process description to develop a PLC ladder program solution. This is the same method used in industry to write PLC programs to a customer specification. Assessments are based upon the relevant performance and skills requirements described in the UEE Electrotechnology training package. Completion of this course will prepare you for the next course in the series PLC Programming Advanced.
