PLC Application

This course is designed for those who have completed our PLC Programming Taster, PLC Programming Introduction, PLC Programming Software, and PLC Programming Essentials courses, or have an intermediate understanding of PLCs and programs and want to create more detailed projects using word PLC instructions. Additionally, use diagnostics to troubleshoot PLC hardware and work with engineering units, number systems and binary word structures to solve problems. PLC instructions used include bit, word, double word, and analogue. Each project uses a process description to develop a PLC ladder program solution. This is the same method used in industry to write PLC programs to a customer specification. Assessments are based upon the relevant performance and skills requirements described in the UEE Electrotechnology training package. This is the final course in our PLC Programming series. If you successfully complete all our PLC Programming courses you will have an advanced working knowledge of PLCs, PLC programming and applications to take you to the next level in the workplace.
